2018 USAF Museum Field Trip
We are planning a fly-out field trip to the US Air Force Museum (Dayton, OH) on May 18-20 for the Grand Opening Event of the Memphis Belle Exhibit. We will fly-out from DuPage Airport (KDPA) on Friday night, May 18th, around 5PM, land directly at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (KFFO) and stay the night at Wright State University. We will then spend all-day Saturday, May 19th, at the USAF Museum for the Grand Opening event of the Memphis Belle Exhibit and return home on Sunday, May 20th, around 3PM.
The flights to/from will be free (paid for by the generosity of the pilots flying). The only costs involved will be $20 per night bunking at Wright State University, meals for three days and entrance fees into the museum/exhibit. Cadets, you will also need to complete a CAP Permission Form, Emergency Contact Information Form and Healthy Information Form… but we will collect those as the event draws nearer.
But, seats are limited. We only have room for a total of 16-20 members in the aircraft that are going (though we may also consider taking a CAP van if there’s enough interest). So, if interested and can commit to the costs outlined above, please enter and submit the form below. Seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis (with priority given to cadets; especially those that have not made this trip with us before).
