2017 Fall Bivouac
Squadron Cadets & Seniors,
You are invited to participate in our squadron’s Fall Bivouac (Camping Outing) — to be held at the Rutland Forest Preserve, in Hampshire, Illinois — starting on Friday evening, November 17th and ending on Sunday morning, November 19th. These are some of our most fun unit events — chock full of *FUN* with exciting cadet activities, Search & Rescue training, team-building exercises and the usual camping thrills of overnighting in a tent, cooking, etc — and we certainly hope that many of you can make it! This year will be extra special because, if you attend, we will be partnering with Kane County Emergency Management Agency an participating in an actual multi-agency Search & Rescue Exercise (SAREX) on Saturday.
To participate, you will need a ABU or BDU uniform, warm jacket, pillow, warm sleeping bag (or equally suitable air mattress and blanks), toiletries and change of clothes suitable for a multi-overnight camping stay. Cadets, you will also need parent/guardian permission (you’ll receive more details on that when you register below). Food and refreshments will be provided at no cost for the entire weekend. There is absolutely no cost to participate. It’s FREE!
Sound like fun? It is! If you want to join us, fill out\submit this form:
